Kub Klub May 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Kub Klub is a new monthly subscription box for babies and toddlers 0-3 years old that sends a variety of curated items each month perfect for your baby’s age. Klub Klub promises more than $47 in value in each box, including items like books, toys, age-appropriate teething and feeding items, snacks, and more!  Plans start at $37 monthly but go down to $27 per month on an annual plan.

The box is neatly wrapped in vibrant purple tissue.  The info card is attached on the lid. This is an extra step in fulfillment that will probably go away as this box gets rolling.

The information card details each item – and there’s a lot of them. There’s also a short note to baby.  I thought it was sweet that the information was directed at my child. This would be a fun box to open with baby and read the card to him!

I’ve been hunting for the best replacement for Citrus Lane and I think I’ve found it!

Everything in my May box! I felt this was about twice as much as Citrus Lane used to have. It’s hard not to make a comparison because the brands and idea are pretty similar.

Plan Toys Dino Racer Rex ($9.26) This dino car is super cute and fun, and it’s from one of our favorite brands! My son loved playing with it and I love that it’s made from preservative-free recycled rubberwood with natural, water-based dyes instead of paint!

Happy TOT Organic Veggies Banana, Beet, Squash & Blueberry ($1.99) Slurp! This organic fruit & veggie pouch was gone in a snap. My baby is a pouch addict. This one was non-GMO & certified organic!

Nature’s Baby Organics Shampoo & Body Wash ($6.39) I can always use more baby wash and this is a full-size container!! It’s hypoallergenic and organic and has a soothing lavender chamomile scent.

Baby Lit Moby Dick ($7.19) I love the illustrations in this “ocean primer.”

Everything is retro and cute, although for now we will skip the smoking discussion! This is a great board book and we had a great time reading it!

NeatCheeks Stevia Flavored Face Wipes ($2)  I always think these are so funny but most babies and toddlers will stick out their tongue when getting their face wiped and this helps avoid face wiping aversions. Great for fussy kids.

JJ Rabbit Penguin aniBowls ($9.99) These bowls are BPA, PVC, and phthalate free – and they are biodegradable as well as dishwasher and microwave safe! I am not sure how they do it!

Our son grabbed these right away, he was delighted! I love bowls like this for a reluctant eater, which our baby is, despite his behemoth size! We have other feeding items made from this biodegradable plastic and they do hold up great.

Pouch Pal ($9.99) My baby is a pouch addict and although he is pretty good at not spilling them, he will be able to attack the pouch and get it totally slurped down without help.

You insert the pouch inside and baby can’t squeeze it. 
I managed to fit the included (too large) pouch into the Pal but quickly discovered that you shouldn’t, because the pressure will cause it to overflow. Single serve pouches only. Baby F immediately recognized it as a pouch and grabbed it.

I totaled up the value of my first box to be about $47, and that’s with Amazon prices, so I was incredibly impressed.  Not only that – I loved the curation of this box.  Everything was spot on for my 20 month old (baby, how are you so old already?) and he loved the items too. We can’t wait to see what comes in next month’s box!
