Pearlesque Box is a monthly subscription box that features skincare products from around the world that are all non-toxic and natural – with a new destination each month! Every month, there will be a minimum of 1-2 full-size products and 1-3 travel-size products from around the world. The box may include natural skincare and/or bodycare. One brand will be featured each month.
OK. It’s more like a second peek. I took the items out to look at it before taking a photo. I was curious about everything especially the deodorant!
The Pearlesque Box theme for May 2016 is Your Greek Goddess Awaits! Odeia Eco Cosmetics is the featured product line. It draws its inspiration from nature throughout the Mediterranean. Odeia meets the international standards and is certified by NATRUE-Certified Natural and Organic Cosmetic. The items are free of petroleum treatment (paraffin, PEG, petrochemicals etc.), gmos, synthetic perfumes, pigments, silicone oils or silicone derivatives, and is cruelty-free.
The front of the information card provides details about Odeia. What fascinates me is that one of the raw materials in the products’ liquid phase is organic lemon and orange hydrosol. The back of the information card describes what is in the box, the price, and a description.

The Odeia Body Milk Conditioner (apx. $22.62) provides nourishment and moisture to the skin while acting similar to a body lotion. It has a base of bergamot hydrosol and apricot oil. A couple of unusual ingredients are papaya and kiwi. It is free of gluten, propylene glycol, parabens, phthalates, nuts and much more. The link provides a detailed list of all the nasties not included in the milk conditioner. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
The cream is a little thicker than a body lotion and is suggested to best use it after a shower. I tried it on my arms while taking pictures and also while my skin is wet. It absorbed into my skin easier when damp. The only scent that I could smell is a light cocoa butter scent. I will be using this after the shower! I love it.
I am always excited about receiving a new eye cream especially when it is large enough to see results! The Odeia Intense Protection Eye Cream (apx. $41.83) helps with puffy eyes, wrinkles, dark circles, elasticity to help make the eye area look better and brighter. The eye cream has a barely noticeable scent and quickly absorbs into the delicate eye area. It is free of It is free of gluten, propylene glycol, parabens, phthalates, nuts and much more. I am not sure how I feel about a deodorant that goes on wet. The Odeia 24 Hour Refreshing Deodorant with Aloe and Sage ($20.00) sprays on wet. I tried it on a rainy day with temperatures in the low 50s and experienced no issues. It is free of triclosan, aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum zirconium , and aluminum chloride. It does contain gluten. It can be reapplied as often as needed.
Pearlesque included a box tote ($17.00) and a coupon for the shop. The 100% organic cotton fabric tote is the size of a cosmetic bag. It is made by freeset who provides jobs to the women forced into India’s sex trade allowing them to be free. The bag is a wonderful, unexpected bonus!
I can use everything in the April Box! The value of this box is $102.00 which is excellent for a natural skincare box. Pearlesque Box has differentiated itself from other natural boxes by offering one product line a month. I enjoy trying out a new brand every month and finding out what works for me. Pearlesque has done an excellent job in rotating the type of products included so that you do not end up with a drawer of cleansers! Just subbed because of this box because wanted to try the eye cream & body milk. Excited to get a box that has one line versus several different ones. Also like that you can delay shipments if you don’t want it that month. Very appealing and wish more companies would do it.

This is such a great box. Everything works for me and doesn’t irritate my skin. They do a really good job with the packaging too. Last month, the box was in another box, and every product was taped inside bubble wrap, so nothing was broken or damaged. Plus the value is insane. I’m dreading running out of these products lol.
