20160213_161354I received this month’s Target Beauty Box and once again not disappointed in their selection.  Target periodically sells non-subscription Target Beauty Boxes – depending on the contents, they are themed and cost $5-10, and sell out quickly! Everything in the box – just $7!

20160210_200146-1First up, a Bath Pouf. This was welcomed sight as I had just threw my last one out and had not been to get another yet.  This one was from EcoTools EcoNet. It is a recyclable pouf that was also made from recycled material. I am all for saving the planet. It works pretty well and this was a full size sample of course. I would hate to see what a sample size would be. LOL!  Value of my full size pouf $2.

Then there was the Skinfix Lip Repair Balm. I did not need to use this product at this time but I do have a family member who could so I used it on them. It worked wonders on her chapped lips. Looks like I am going to have to buy more just for her. This lip balm was a full size product  worth $5.

I tried for the first time ever the Derma e Hydrating Night Creme. I did not believe I was old enough yet to use a night creme but I like it. It has a soft scent to it and it made my skin feel soft. I am hoping it keeps my youthful appearance that I inherited from the woman in my family. We do not want laugh lines or wrinkles here. The value for this .5 oz sample of the night cree  is $7.40.

The Mayfair Soap Foundry Body creme is a lotion that has a deeply hydrating formula  with shea butter, safflower oil and sunflower oil. I tried a bit after a shower. It did not leave a greasy feel to my skin and no strong orders. This 1 oz container’s value $1.60.

Now for one of my favorites in this box, the Vera Wang Embrace Eau de Toilette. I received a 1.2 ml sample of the Green Tea and Pear Blossom scent valued at $1.

My ultimate favorite item in this box was the Incoco Nail Polish Applique. For those that bite their nails or have trouble growing your nails, you know painting your nails is a tough job and you tend to make a mess.  These appliques are easy to apply and come a variety of colors and designs.  They last up to 10 days. I received a white with soft colored flowers strips. My hands felt pretty after I applied them. The strips(if you have short nails) can be cut in two for extra pieces for later.  This was a full size sample and it will be fun to redo my nails in 10 days.Total value for nail appliques is  $5.

Also in the box was a sample of Laneige BB Cushion. It is a 5-in1 cushion to brighten, protect, cool, cover and prevent shine. It came with foundation in 3 different hues, light, medium, and dark. Of course with it being winter, I was forced to use the light foundation. I found the sample to be adequate for its small size. I may be possibly purchasing the larger version in the future. The full version runs about $34 which makes my sample valued at $6.80.

20160210_200040-1Next are the Soapbox Coconut Oil Shampoo and Conditioner samples. The samples had an interesting tidbit on them. For every bottle sold, a month’s supply of clean water is given to a community in need. That was a good thing to read. I tried them both. I enjoyed the coconut smell. It was a bit overpowering at first but it wore off after awhile.  These shampoos and conditioners are free of sulfate and paraben free. I felt it left my hair too dry but if you are eco friendly, this is the one for you. My 2- 2oz samples were valued at $.75 each.

Last but not least is the L’Oreal Boost It Air Blown Texture Mist. This is a full size sample at 4oz for $4. It creates instant root tease and buildable body. It has a light weight mist that has a strong hold. I think they are trying to bring back the hair do’s of the 80’s with this product and previous hair products I received. It did its job but I did  not like the feel of it and it was tough to comb out afterwards.

I am already looking forward to the next Beauty Box but this one was amazing! It had about $34 in value for $7.

I like your nails better then the ones I got. Mine are just a beige color and really boring but I like the rest of the box.

Thank you. 4 days later and they are still holding up. I think I’m going to get more of them soon. Maybe it will help e stop biting my nails if I keep them “painted”. LOL

The full size of the Laneige comes with 2 cushions. one is a refill for the regular product. There is a great you tube video on its application. My pouf was small not full size. It also smells really bad and I will be tossing it out. I haven’t heard of anyone else with this problem so mine must be defective.
