pawpack january 2016 box While there wasn’t a theme for this month’s box, there were an overwhelming number of football references.  Ready for the big game?  PawPack is a subscription box for your dogs or cats.  Each month, you’ll receive 5 or more hand selected items that your fur babies are sure to love.  PawPack strives to feature hypoallergenic products and aims to ensure that items are all-natural and grain-free.  Additionally, 10% of PawPack’s proceeds go towards supporting rescue causes.  Choose between 3 sizes to determine the right fit for your dog – small (0-20 lbs.), medium (20-50 lbs.), and large (50+ lbs.).  Boxes are $39 per month (price drops with extended plans – $29 per month for annual plan).   On a side note, I’ve decided that my post office doesn’t appreciate packaging.  At least half of my recent deliveries have had a sticker or some writing over the company’s logo.  pawpack january 2016 20160205_210454

Inside our box! There was also a note inside congratulating me on receiving a gift subscription.  This was a Christmas present for my girls from their aunt Brandy.  pawpack january 2016 20160205_210937

Lily inspecting the box while I get ready to take pictures.  Note the size of the pizza slice in relation to her head!  It’s ginormous.

Nerf Dog Football ($6.99):  This bright 3.5″ football is made of durable rubber and has a gripped design to make carry and fetch a breeze.  It also contains a squeaker.  The true test of any ball in my house is Lexi.  She’s a ball fiend and will play for hours on end if you let her.

Zippy Paws Squeakie Emojiz – Pizza Slice ($6.99):  Now your fur babies can express themselves with emojis just like you.  This plush toy features 2 round squeakers and measures 9″x7″x2″.  The size of this piece was a bit much for my dogs to play with individually, but it made tug-o-war easier when they played together.  For some reason, there is also a hanging loop at the top of the piece.  Just in case pet parents decide to keep and display the plush???  The line has several popular emoticons to choose from (probably not appropriate, but I would’ve loved to get the smiling poo).

pawpack january 2016 20160205_212258Braided Bully Stick ($5.99):  This stick comes from free-range cattle and is both antibiotic and growth hormone free.  These are great for naturally maintaining dental health and satisfying your pup’s chew instincts.  This will be the girls’ first bully stick.

Wellness Pure Reward Beef Treats ($8.95):  I was so happy to see a Wellness snack!  It is one of the few dog food brands that I regularly feed my girls; we switch up every now and then for variety.  These treats are more than 90% meat and have limited ingredients.  They are also grain and wheat free.  Plus, my girls love jerky.pawpack january 2016 20160205_212602pawpack january 2016 20160205_212206

Kate Aspen Doggone Good Time! Bottle Opener ($13.97):  How adorable is this bone shaped opener!  Kate Aspen is a prominent wedding/shower/special occasion favor and gift designer.  The packaging is really pretty, and I know exactly who I can gift this to.  I’d love to keep this one, but I already have a few openers.  Sorry, I couldn’t find this piece on the Kate Aspen website and don’t know if there are other coordinating bar accessories.

Lily’s planning her move to steal the ball.pawpack january 2016 20160205_212703_001

Please ma’am, can we have some more?  They were being so good while I worked on this review that I gave them a couple Wellness treats.  These are their pleading faces afterwards – those sad puppy eyes always get me.  By the way, Lexi is not wearing clothing by choice.  She absolutely hates to be dressed and runs for cover anytime I dress Lily.

This box had a $43 value, slightly more than the cost of an individual box (the savings is much greater on an annual subscription – as are most dog subscription boxes).  I found the products to be fun and of good quality.  The important part was that my fur babies enjoyed their gift… I’ve had to hide Nerf football because my arm is tired.  Can’t wait to see what we get next month!
