Level Up by Loot Crate T-Shirt, Women’s Wearable & Accessories Reviews & Coupon – February 2016 DEAD Collection

Level Up is a monthly subscription from Loot Crate with exclusive geek and gamer premium wearable accessories themed along with the current Loot Crate theme. You can purchase Level Up separately from Loot Crate – and the wearable items (the shirts/hats/etc) are available in ladies’ sizes, but not the socks. There are now four options:

• Socks: 2 pairs of themed socks for $9.99
• Shirt: 1 shirt for $8.99
• Accessories: 1 or 2 fashion accessories for lady looters (hairbow, cosmetics, jewelry) for $14.99
• Wearable: 1 wearable item like a premium shirt or hat for $14.99

You can also bundle the wearable + socks for $20.99.

Everything shipped separately this month, not sure why. This is the Women’s Wearable, T-Shirt (men’s/women’s), and the Accessories!

Level Up comes with an entire booklet showing every item for the month. The Loot Crate theme for February was DEAD!

I was really excited about this month because it featured different men’s and women’s wearables. Dalyn will have a review of the men’s Wearable up soon!

I like how they offer ways to increase your style points using all the items.

February 2016 LVL UP Accessories

Exclusive The Walking Dead Cherokee Rose Locket: This rose is a symbol to give strength and hope, and perfect for fans of TWD!

The locket says on the back This Rose Started To Grow Right Where The Mother’s Tears Fell and the card included the story of the Cherokee Rose, which is said to grow along the Trail of Tears where the Cherokee mothers’ tears fell for their children. This was such a sad story – it’s rare that geek subscriptions and items will be so poignant.

The inside is a mirror!

Espionage Cosmetics Exclusive Glow-in-the-Dark Blood Spatter Nail Wraps: Espionage Cosmetics is a geek chic cosmetics and nail wrap line (and have their own sub box – check it out here).

My nails aren’t currently long enough for the full effect (note to self, paint nails to grow them out) – I’ll test them out next weekend. Great design!

February 2016 LVL UP Wearable – Women’s

Level Up Exclusive Women’s Her Universe Deadpool Hi-Lo Top – Deadpool, tacos, chimichangas, and explosions. It doesn’t get better than this! I love this shirt! It has a looser fit than the shirts (more on that below) and is super awesome. I totally took a selfie in this but my teeth were full of chocolate, so we’re skipping that! 🙂

February 2016 LVL UP T-Shirt

Level Up Exclusive Silence of the Lambs T-Shirt: I exchanged my women’s t-shirt last month due to the extremely small size (fyi – I got my replacements today in separate shipments…). Loot Crate recommends that you size up a “few” sizes on the women’s sizes, and they aren’t kidding. This subscription goes to 5XL on both women’s and men’s, and the women’s 4xl and 5xl are currently sold out. I would say that the 3xl is a good approximation for a regular XL women’s tee. If you are a woman and wear larger than that, get a men’s size. I typically just wear the men’s large that comes in my box (which is larger than this 3XL shirt).

BUT, let’s get to this shirt. I love it! It’s a great gothic repeating design of the death’s head moth. This one is even more perfect for me because my college nickname was moth. So weird, don’t even ask.

I am a huge fan of the Level Up subscriptions and I loved the shirts this month! I think Level Up is a good value, have improved rapidly since their launch, and are just an awesome way to build a fun geeky wardrobe without a lot of cash. If you don’t want every fandom, I suggest waiting for when we break out the spoilers for which fandom is for which subscription before subscribing. I’m sure we’ll have March spoilers (and February socks and men’s wearable reviews) soon!
