Beekman 1802 Beauty Box Subscription Box Review – Winter 2016

Beekman 1802, a brand that I discovered through Little Lace Box/Serendipity, has begun their own subscription service.  The Beekman 1802 Farm is located in upstate New York and is owned by Josh and Brent. They have the most adorable goat herd! They combined their business savvy with the farm to create an amazing lifestyle brand. Among other enterprises, they now offer four different subscription boxes –  a monthly cheese subscription, a quarterly Beekman Beauty Box, a monthly specialty food club, and a scent of the month candle subscription box. The packing slip was laid on top of the bubble wrap. The box itself is well-protected on its journey to me. I will be reviewing the quarterly Beekman Beauty Box. It will contain their newest and best selling products. I can’t wait to see what is in it!

The box itself is a beautiful reusable box. You can gift this subscription knowing the recipient will feel special and impressed.

The box uses a sturdy ribbon tied as a bow to seal it shut. The color goes well with the box and reminds me of hay and straw. Perfect for a box that is from a farm.

Subscription box fans take their reusable boxes seriously. It’s an excellent reusable box.

The inside cover is beautiful and has the Beekman 1802 logo. The information letter is on top of the items in the box.

I love Beekman 1802’s packaging, and this is no exception. The winter box contains a brand new scent that is not even online yet! It is Apricot & Honey Tea, a luxe spa scent. The scent is a combination of floral and fruit profiles. The floral profile has honey extracts, mango butter, and wildflower notes. The gently spiced fruit profile has apricot, green tea, and mango butter. And of course, there is goat milk in all the products!!!

The packaging reminds me that spring is on its way. The Beekman 1802 items I received are paraben-free and sulfate-free. The lip balm does not contain petroleum. Also, there is no alcohol in the facial wipes.

The Apricot & Honey Goat Milk Bar Soap ($15) is a large size soap weighing in at 9 ounces. I linked to similar bar soaps on their website. The Apricot & Honey Tea smells exquisite. It has a light, refreshing spa scent to it.

The hydra-smooth soap is enriched with cocoa and mango butters, green tea and honey extracts. The notes are apricot and honey blossoms with a hint of wildflowers. The soap texture is smooth and lathers up easily. I will be using this for my next shower after cutting it in half for easier handling.

The Apricot & Honey Supreme Flower Princess Sheer Tinted Lip Balm ($8) is a 100% all natural lip balm. The lip balm contains organic beeswax and organic sunflower oil. It contains no parabens, phthalates, or artificial colors.

The apricot & honey tea scent is less noticeable in the lip balm than in the other products. I swatched it on my arm and tried it on my lips and did not notice any color. My lips feel soft and kissable.

The alcohol-free Apricot & Honey Tea Facial Wipes ($7) are also 100% biodegradable. The gentle wipes have Vitamin A, Retinol, & Green Tea among its ingredients. The wipes are scented with apricots and sweet honey tea.

The wipes are simple to use. Wipe it over your face and toss away. It’s great for those nights when all you want to do is remove your makeup and go to bed. I tried the wipes and found that it easily removed my makeup. It did not irritate my rosacea.

The Apricot & Honey Tea Goat Milk Body Lotion ($20) smells amazing. I’m in love it. It reminds me of being at the spa.

The lotion is enriched with cocoa butter, mango butter, green tea, honey, and goat milk. It’s a lightweight lotion that absorbs quickly into the skin.

The pump adds an elegant look to the bottle. The lotion bottle will look great in the bathroom or the bedroom.

I am excited to try out the very first Beekman 1802 Beauty Surprise Box! I love the Apricot & Honey Tea scent. The scent evoked memories of the spa. I can see why Josh & Brent feel that the scent will become a signature scent for Beekman 1802.  The variety of items are already best-sellers on their website although the scent itself is not listed on the website yet. The subscription box packaging, the beautiful reusable box, receiving a new scent, and the gorgeous labels are a joy to experience.  I can’t wait to see what is in the April box!
