Everything in the Fall 2015 Box!

Bright Endeavors Spa Tin Candle in Vanilla Honey ($7) This adorable travel candle smells delicious and is made with soy wax and lead-free wicks. Bright Endeavors provides training, counseling, and employment to adolescent mothers in the Chicago area. I wish I could eat this one!

Choice Organic Beauty Detox Tea ($1) This tea uses burdock root, chamomile, and jasmine green tea to promote detoxification, wellness, and a boost of antioxidants.

Raven + Lily Chai Spice Soap ($7) This soap just smells like fall – cinnamon, nutmeg, and yumminess! Raven + Lily is an ethical fashion and lifestyle brand dedicated to empowering women through design. I was impressed with this company and their story and was surprised I hadn’t heard of them before. Subscription boxes are great for discovering work like this.

Elegantees Braided Infinity Scarf ($24) I love this scarf! Gorgeous color and the fabric is tee-shirt material. Like Purpose, the makers are survivors of sex-trafficking.  I’m not sure if this is the Grape or the Bold Turq – it doesn’t really look like either to me – more like cobalt. You can see the construction of this unique scarf in the photo. I have never seen one like this.

So pretty and fun! Love it.

Purpose Jewelry Gold Kana Necklace ($24) Purpose jewelry is handcrafted by survivors of modern-day slavery and all of the proceeds go to benefit a nonprofit that cares for women rescued from sex trafficking. Kana is short for Muskāna, the Hindi word for smile, which the curved bar is reminiscent of. Such a pretty piece.

This was an excellent box and truly highlighted the great work around the globe to help empower marginalized women around the world. The items were absolutely lovely, well-made, and the tota value of his box was about $63. This was an extremely well-researched box and I think the care that went into selecting the items and the companies was self-evident.
