Luxor Box Subscription Box Review – September 2015

Luxor Box is a luxurious bi-monthly women’s lifestyle subscription box full of high-end products and treasures: home, body, bath, accessories, jewelry, and more! Luxor promises a delightfully different experience in each box! And what a fun box to open!

I love the packaging for this box – especially the robin’s egg blue color!

All the items come on individual cards, with maker information on the reverse. This makes it nice for regifting. I love subscription boxes that I can collect gifts from – no more shopping for me!

Everything in the box! I loved how each item was contained in its own packaging!

Idea Catcher Fleur-de-lis Set ($19.95) This card set is comprised of a small folio made of heavy stock to hold your idea catcher cards (also printed on heavyweight stock)! You can take them around, write one idea per card, and then have your ideas for later. It came with an ample supply of replacement cards. To me this is more than just for lists – it sort of elevates brainstorming!

Meredith Hahn Collection Tatum Cuff  ($268) This is just stunning – and the perfect size! It’s 18k gold vermeil (plated sterling silver) and I love the style! You can wear it back further on your arm for more of a cuff look or closer to the wrist as a bangle. I thought this was an excellent piece and was surprised that it was vermeil – which is highly regulated as to thickness and the metal underneath (no base or mystery metals). This one will be in my jewelry chest for a lifetime!

Pura Botanicals Freshly Minted Body Combo Set ($25) Unsurprisingly, this is a peppermint-infused cleanser and moisturizing set! It uses organic whole leaf aloe, organic shea butter, and jojoba (cleanser) and organic cocoa butter (lotion) to really pump up the moisture. I love the bottles for this set and they will be lovely in my bathroom – I get excited for an item that looks right sitting out. Subscribers could also receive the Pura Botanicals Freshly Minted Hair Combo Set! Again – everything having its own package is just such a nice touch and makes the box even more fun to open!

Dartington Little Gems Oval Vase ($30) What a gorgeous vase! I love taller display items in subscription boxes (as opposed to dishes or plates). There were multiple variations, all lovely. The amethyst glass is brilliant and handmade. This is truly a little gem!

Henné Organics Luxury Lip Balm ($22) A luxury organic lip balm made with organic avocado, coconut, and jojoba oils along with organic shea and cocoa butter, plus organic beeswax to keep a beautiful consistency. I love seeing organic balms in boxes, because it goes on your lips. Great item!

Greenmarket Purveying Co Balsam + Feather Candle in Lakeside ($25) Described as sweet minerals with vanilla and musk it’s an excellent fall scent! Soy, hand-poured, using only US materials, and it will last 45-55 hours!

This was really a superb box! It had around $390 in value and was full of luxe discoveries, just as promised. I think this is an excellent luxury subscription, and I think it’s just perfect that it’s bi-monthly. Not long enough that you get too antsy in between, but just right for the budget. I loved everything and was really impressed! Luxor Box also offers a petite subscription for $39.95 bi-monthly. The items in the Petite Luxor Box were the Dartington vase, the Pura Botanicals set, and the Idea Catcher ($75 value).
