wantable style edit september 2015 box

Wantable Style Edit is a personal styling subscription.  It works just like Stitch Fix – fill out your style profile and size info, pay a $20 styling fee (credited against your purchase), and if you buy everything in your edit, you’ll save 25%! Wantable also has style subscriptions for accessories, makeup, or intimates wear, plus another personal styling subscription for fitness clothing.

The Style Edit is our new personal styling service. Similar to our Fitness Edit, the Style Edit is a service that allows you to try before you buy. This means you get to try on 5 handpicked items in the comfort of your own home before paying for them. Item prices are based on your personal preferences but usually range from $50-$100 each.

The Style Edit is a monthly subscription, but you can skip a month or cancel at any time. Currently Edits are only available to customers in the 50 U.S. States.

Everything in my box!

Before you ask what the lump in the photos of each individual item below is, it’s my dog. She’s extremely fond of the warmth of my lights! I love her <3! She’s such a good baby (and is also extremely fond of the dog treats I tend to keep in my office!).

Tart Collections Olga Blazer

Tart Collections Olga Blazer ($150) This is a nice stretchy jersey heather gray blazer. It’s definitely on the casual side of business, even though it’s a blazer, because of the jersey knit.

I really liked the ruched sleeves because I typically have to buy petites to get the sleeve length correct!

The blazer had an interesting epaulet quilted on to the blazer. This blazer wasn’t really for me – but it was definitely responsive to my notes that I love cardigans and layers!

 KUT Shift Dress

KUT Shift Dress ($89) This is a perfect item! I love the understated and modern floral. It looks a bit boxy on the mannequin but it’s great on. A perfect sheath dress that can be dressed up or down!

For me personally I loved that it showed a little back while still being bra-friendly. This was really a fantastic pick from my stylist! This is perfect business wear for me.

Olive & Oak Pleated Tank in Spring Plum

Olive & Oak Pleated Tank in Spring Plum ($56) Love this color, it’s so gorgeous, plus the sort of tonal tuxedo stripes.

It’s super cute!!

Kensie Slit Front Heather Skirt

Kensie Slit Front Heather Skirt ($59) This is a great black skirt with textural heathering detail/slubs on the fabric providing a bit of contrast and making sure it’s not 100% stark black. Since I tend to wear black constantly (and my stylists always try to get me out of that rut), this was another excellent selection – and budget-minded too! The slit is modest and does actually fit a stylish business casual look.

Jack Rai Top

Jack Rai Top ($40) The notes on the card said how soft this is – and it really is! It’s a modal fabric and just super soft, a forgiving style, with some nice feminine details.

Unfortunately the two tops weren’t bra friendly and I don’t tend to mess around with fancy bras (I still haven’t updated my profile to note that, it needs to get done!). But I loved that this was a cohesive collection and with the keep all 25% discount would have been $275. The bulk of that was in the blazer of course, which I thought was overpriced, but someone else might fall in love with the same item. Ultimately Wantable Style Edit – like any other personal styling subscription – is about saving you time and hassle and sending you great pieces. You do get your styling fee applied to your purchase from the box and there seems to always be a keeper, so I’m very happy with this subscription right now!
