All the items in our box for June.

Alternative Baking Company Fudge Indulgence Cookie:  This was a very good cookie, and it would stand up to many traditional recipes.  Rich and fudgy, it had a great texture (not mushy) and is amongst the best gluten-free cookies I’ve ever had.

Paleo Baking Company Paleo Hazelnut Cake & Muffin Mix ($9) This is made with hazelnut and coconut flour, and I think it’s going to taste great. I love that they include a full-sized food item that isn’t a snack – something to add to your gluten-free pantry!

Schar Honey Grahams: LWF suggests a gluten-free smore, which I think is an excellent plan for these! Perfect for a cookout.

Kutoa Chocolate Banana Bar:  The banana flavor shines through, and the chewy texture is very nice.  The flax seed and chia hide politely in the background, letting the chocolate do its thing.

Sheffa Everything Savory Bar:  Wonderfully addictive, and a refreshing alternative to chewy and sweet offerings.  Crispy and crunchy, the bar tastes a bit like and everything bagel with dried chick peas in place of the bread.  The texture is crunchy, dry and silky, like a cross between the inside of a Butterfinger and a Nature Valley granola bar, but without the sweetness.

Pik Nik Original Shoestring Potatoes ($1):  There is something nostalgic about savory snacks in a can.  Petit and crisp.

You get a triple dose of chips in this box.gluten free june love with food 2015 IMG_1878

Crazy Hot Popchips:  The name says it all.  These are very spicy, but still well within tasty-snacking range.  The crunchy puffiness is like a rice cake and potato chip hybrid.  I like these quite a bit and was glad to see two bags in the box.

Simply 7 Sea Salt Quinoa Chips ($.75):  The quinoa is very mild tasting, making these a nice palatable snack that can stand in for potato chips any day.  They have a slightly greasy mouth feel; similar to a SunChip, but with a “cleaner”, less hearty flavor.

Buddha Bowl Himalayan Pink Popcorn:  Brandy stole these (but I got a taste first).  Nicely made popcorn with quality ingredients.  Good, simple stuff.

Barnana Chewy Banana Bites:  Much less sweet than I expected, these are chewy and bursting with banana-bready flavor.

gluten free june love with food 2015 coupons

This month there was a coupon for a Free Box of Ruby Rocket’s Veggie & Fruit Pops.

We enjoy the regular Love with Food subscription box and found the Gluten Free to be quite good as well.  The chips and treats were great quality and matched gluten-loaded offerings on flavor.
