prospurly box june 2015 theme

Love the packaging on this box. The June 2015 theme is A Seaside Excursion. This is a great theme for this time of year!

prospurly box june 2015 card

I do hope they change the information card – I find it hard to read.

prospurly box june 2015 review

Everything in the June box!

prospurly box june 2015 candle

The Blue Octopus Mermaids Kiss Candle ($8) LOVE this! I love the art on the top, I love the scent, and I’m very happy with this item! The scent is described as sugar cane, coconut milk, vanilla orchid, and white musk. Totally intoxicating like the lores of the mermaid’s kiss! It’s a good sized travel candle.

prospurly box june 2015 salt

Sea Grape Salt Kissed Lavender Texurizing Hair Mist ($7.50) I don’t recall ever having used a lavender hair texturizer/sea salt spray. There is an error on the card – this is only a half size so is worth $7.50, not $15.  I would probably prefer the vetiver scent, but I’m going to use this in the kiddo’s hair (yes, we all love sea sprays & dry hairspray!).

Salt Works Wild Fire Salt Blend ($10.95) Northwest sea salt combined with fresh garlic and rosemary, all smoked over hand-picked Pecan wood. Yum, delicious! I love fancy salts of nearly any kind but this is good for faking that you’ve roasted that food all day!

prospurly box june 2015 scrub

Meraki Botanicals Bergamot Neroli Body Scrub ($20) A little sweet with the salt! It uses raw sugar, dead sea salt, & epsom salt, along with organic coconut oil and a citrus oil blend. It smelled like The Garage in Harvard Square. A bit too much patchouli for my taste and not very citrusy. However, I find that patchouli smells pretty good when it reacts with my body chemistry, so I’m going to use this one!

prospurly box june 2015 bath

Being Apothecary Still Salt Bath ($18) This is strongly scented, so a little goes a long way. It contains Himalayan Sea salt, Dead Sea salt, and Ylang Ylang and Geranium essential oil so is very soothing.

Oak Street Soap Plumeria Pink Sea Salt Bubble Bar ($5.50) Oh this is so fun! I thought it was soap at first, but it’s sort of like a bath bomb. And more salt! I love the plumeria scent and it is super bubbly and just a squeaky clean good time.

This was a great sea and salt-inspired box. The total value of the box was $70 – not great for a $50 box, but everything is artisan-sourced this month, plus you can get 10% off every month for the life of your subscription to make it $45, which is a bit more palatable. I think this is a great experience box with lifestyle items to help inspire you through the seasons, and I really like what they’ve been putting in these boxes.
