panty by post review

Panty by Post is a monthly subscription envelope with one curated panty per month! Choose between everyday basics, signature line, and premium luxe for your subscription, ranging from $15CAD to $35CAD per month. I had no idea until I reviewed this subscription that Panty by Post offers plus-sizes, up to 5X in the signature line and the every day basics.

The envelope itself is very pretty, and the package is great. Would make a nice little gift for someone special!

The Premium Luxe line is a high end fashion line with some hand sewn details and European fabrics. The Signature line is a playful, sexy mix of colorful designs and fashionable looks. Everyday Basics include soft, stretchy sweet little bottoms with colors and barely there style for a fashionable upgrade.  I received a Premium Line panty to review. IMG_3820

My undies were wrapped nicely in tissue.

Purpuratta Noir Panty – Purpuratta is a Colombian lingerie company. They employ around 10 direct workers and more than 100 indirect workers, most of them are single householders mothers. I actually thought this was really interesting that this company works on the artisan model. Plus the panty was gorgeous!  Upon a little inspecting, I discovered that Panty by Post actively pursues fair trade suppliers! I liked the idea of underwear you can feel good about.

The back side is all lace with a cheeky ruche detail.

The front of the panty is line. It was comfortable, sexy, and held up nicely in the wash too (I don’t do anything special – I just throw them in with the rest of the laundry!). This was a pretty fancy undie and a nice treat. I would be happy to receive a package like this as a gift!

RUN FAR AWAY!!! Panty by Post has provided the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had an entire saga with them, but basically they sent me the wrong size and when I emailed them, they made it clear that we could exchange for the correct size. They were unclear about return shipping so I had to repeatedly pay for return shipping myself. I was not satisfied with their service so I cancelled. Not only did they still charge me $35 more than a month after I cancelled, they ALSO charged me $35 for the replacement pair even though I returned the smaller size! I contacted them on October 24th about refunding the $70 and still have not received a penny back. They replied to my emails long enough to get their mistakenly sent merchandise returned, but now I haven’t received a reply to my emails since November 3rd (13 days and counting). There is NO reason why this is taking so long to resolve nor any reason why I have not received a refund, especially as this is due to several mistakes on their end. I don’t normally turn to social media bashing, but Panty by Post’s lack of response is atrocious. I’ve spent my own money to rectify their mistakes and now they won’t even reply to my emails.

Totally cute! I hope they hold up. My lace backed undies in general tend to be a bit more fragile.
