Love with Food‘s theme for May is Fiesta! Fiesta!. If you’re unfamiliar with this subscription, it’s a fun snack discovery subscription and inexpensive. We get the Deluxe box but Love with Food sent the May tasting box for review!
Everything in this month’s tasting box!
As the sun shines brighter, it certainly feels like party time! Turn up the music, shed a few layers and dance the day away with these South of the Border inspired snacks. Every box purchased means a donation to food banks across the country. So you can do an extra twirl knowing that you’ve made a difference!
The information booklet contains both the ingredients for each item plus color-coded keys indicating which are non-GMO, gluten-free, and vegan.
The Better Chip Spinach & Kale Corn Chips
Inka Corn – Sea Salt & Vinegar
I love these tortilla chips and I wish we could find them locally! This is actually quite a big bag with two full servings in it. My husband is all about the Inka Corn (he’s addicted to the various corn snacks that come in our boxes). He thought these were delicious.
PB Thins 100 Calorie Pack – From when I first saw the spoilers I was crazy excited about these! PB Thins are from the makers of PB2 and these are little almost-cookie like crackers. They have great peanutty flavor and I totally enjoyed them. I think our family could knock back a box of them in about 5 minutes.
Dick and Jane Smart Snacks – English & Spanish
Home Free Mini Lemon Burst Cookies
Both of these are great lunchbox snacks (even if you aren’t a kid). The Smart Snacks are a step-up on animal crackers and the home free cookies are bursting with flavor – super lemony!
Go Organics Iced Mint Mango and Blood Orange Candy
Smooze All Natural Fruit Ice, Coconut & Pink Guava
Vintage Bee Hibiscus Creamed Honey
Now we’ve entered the sweet zone! We do like having new hard candies to try – especially if they’re natural and organic like these! The Smooze coconut fruit ice is a family fave, and we think it’s excellent to get a freezer treat in a subscription. We buy cases of them on Amazon! The Hibiscus honey is fun to have, plus it has a red color from the Hibiscus.
What a great way to try new foods and check out what’s in the market now. Love with Food also donates a meal to a hunger charity with every box sold (two for deluxe and gluten-free boxes) and although the value never quite reaches the cost of the box, it’s a fun little discovery service that we enjoy tasting every month (stay tuned for the deluxe box review, that’s the one we actually subscribe to!).
