May 2015 Look Fantastic Beauty Box Review

lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. It costs £15 (about $23) and ships free to the US! In every box you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products. Right now the May box is still available. FYI – when you sign up for a 3 month subscription, you save £5, plus you get a free beauty gift (shown below).

A fold out information card (reminiscent of the old-style Popsugar cards) comes in each box, along with product details and tips/benefits for use.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or ($4.50)

Erno Lazlo Transphuse Night Serum ($11.40)

I was super excited about the NUXE oil, which gives a great golden shimmer. You can use it on face, body, and hair! The Erno Lazlo is a nighttime plumping serum to help reduce the look of wrinkles and prevent formation.

Christophe Robin Repair and Protect Masque ($15.47)

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm ($11)

The Masque contains prickly pear seed oil, which is expensive, and twice the vitamin E found in Argan oil to help repair, moisturize, and protect. This will be great for helping plump up locks during the summer. The cleansing balm is somewhat stinky – it’s made from Hungarian Moor Mud – and removes impurities and makeup. It also has a nice orange blossom scent to cover up the mud a bit!

Eylure Pre-Glued Eyelashes ($6)

Monu Tanworx Self-Tanning Lotion ($7.75)

I can’t say I am a big false eyelashes user but I know some ladies love them. I definitely want to try these out sometime. The TanWorx is perfect for the season!

I received 3 balance me products – an oil, and eye cream, and a hand cream! This was a really nice bonus and I like this brand.

The box also contained a spoiler for the June Look Fantastic box – Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask.

Do I need to say I was wowed? Because I was! It contained around $56 in value – nearly all luxury brands – and everything in the box was new to me. Everything!  I think for the value and curation, this box tops Allure Sample Society & Glossybox, easily. I have a 3 month subscription to check it out, and I may very well stay subscribed!
