A Little Bundle is a monthly curated box full of unique products for mom and baby.  Their mission is to bring laughter, excitement and love to the journey of motherhood. When I subscribed I specifically selected the 18 months to 2 years size (my 6 month old is actually over 25 pounds and wears 12-18 months already in Gymboree). I of course used his correct birthday and even wrote a note in the notes section. Unfortunately, I received a box for a child much older than mine. I was crazy disappointed to open my box and see the items. I’ll try to review it from the perspective of the mom of an older kid, but I was bummed with this box.

Ahoy Amigos “Always Hungry” T-Shirt ($26) The great news is that this shirt runs true to size. One of the reasons I picked 18-24 months for the SIZE of my baby (and. not. the. age.) is because often shirts in these kinds of boxes run terribly small. He will be able to wear this this summer. I  love the design! He is totally always hungry – how do you think he got to 25 pounds already?!

Kelly Murray Card ($3.75) The back of the card notes the A Little Bundle Tradition:

Artist of the Month comes with a greeting card in within every bundle. We ask for our Mamas to write a love letter to their little and keep them until they’re old enough to read them all!

What a cute idea and a pretty card!

Green Sprouts Boys Undies ($12.99) Well, these would be great if my 6 month decided to potty train!

A Little Bundle Oven Mitts ($12)

A Little Merriment Chefs Hat ($13)

Half Pint Ink Recipe Cards ($10)

The mitts & hat will go nicely in our play kitchen area and because my middle child (my 4 year old son) loves dress up and “cooking” I think these will really get used! The cards are cute and interestingly, printed on chipboard (acid free?? I don’t know!).

There were several grammatical and other errors on the cards. I also have noticed that subscribers to the One King’s Lane deal did not receive the same items that I did (no undies).  The March box that I received had a value of around $78, which would have been fantastic if I could have used more than 2 of the items. I will update when I hear back from them about this size/age issue. I specifically purchased this subscription to have more things for my baby now, not a year from now!

UPDATE: Although your bundle preferences may be exactly the same as someone else’s, you may receive one less product than them, “Because EVERY box is different.” Because of the varying values I hesitate to recommend this subscription. ALB sent me an item to replace the training pants (above), and says that the bundles are curated based on the Baby’s Clothing Size (the clothing size is what’s solicited and that they are basing the age off the age-based sizes is not communicated on the website whatsoever). Other subscribers received this exact bundle, minus the training pants entirely (their cards reflected the omission). I cannot comprehend why some subscribers would receive them and others wouldn’t – it seems totally arbitrary. Unfortunately I bought a 6 month subscription not knowing these issues.

I was so, so excited about this one, which I ordered before seeing your review. (If I had read your review first, I probably wouldn’t have ordered it.) I got mine today and I’m disappointed–one of the reasons I ordered it was because it seemed like the products they included would be handmade/natural/etc., and the first thing I pulled out of the box was a stuffed animal that was made in China. (Maybe that’s my problem with having the wrong expectations of what their box is about?) While it’s cute, it’s not exactly appropriate for a newborn because it has buttons sewn on for eyes. I wasn’t really impressed with anything else in the box either–it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t stuff I’d pick out myself. Bummer.

FYI your comment was in my spam 🙁 Boo! Anyways I posted my April box review yesterday and I noted the same issue with the eyes. I don’t mind high quality products from China, but I never give any credence to claims of organic from China.

It’s a weird box for sure!!

I also ordered subscription from ones lane and notice the differences with previous boxes not matching up with other reviews. I felt like overall my boxes (got 3 different ones)were not as well put together as other peoples and had less items. I do not recommemd this subscription.I also got repeats with consecutive months, To be honest it was not pleasant or worth it at all.

That is so interesting. I didn’t get the underwear. I originally signed up through One Kings Lane, but I have a full price subscription now? Let me know what they tell you!

I considered briefly (haha) if it was due to the size?the shirt sells for the same amount any size. In any event having the same box minus an item no matter the circumstance isn’t ok. I am going to see what they say about the age issue, it was super disappointing to get a box for my baby that was not for a baby!
