BoxyCharm Beauty Subscription Box Review – April 2015

BoxyCharm is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. They’re mostly full-size products (4 full size and one deluxe sample) and the boxes have been able to maintain a consistently high value.

The April theme was April Bloom.

The April 2015 Boxycharm

Model Co Shine Ultra Lip Gloss ($16) Whoops, forgot a photo of that lipgloss! I wished it was a bit more sheer, but I like ModelCo lip gloss so I was happy with that. Some subscribers got a Vincent Longo Duo Lip Pencil ($26).

OFRA Illuminating Blush Stripes ($35) This is a pretty blush palette and I love that the back flips open to a mirror. Ultimately the stripes are sort of a gimmick but they’re pretty to look at!  Some received OFRA Derma Mineral Powder – Pink Sapphire ($35).

Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette ($19.95) Some of the colors were fabulous, but others literally left huge flakes on my hand. Ew! I gave up when I got to that flakey shadow but I hear that the rest are pretty good.

Coolway Smoothing Lotion ($24.95)

Harvey Prince Signature ($21)

I don’t think I would ever pay $25 for 2 ounces of hair smoothing spray but it will be fun to try! I like Harvey Prince and this is a generous rollerball!

This was a great box – huge value (around $125) but I would never pay retail on any of these products – except perhaps the Harvey Prince. I have to admit though – this box is packed with brands that I’ve grown a little weary of seeing in boxes. I’m hoping that next month brings some new brands!
