barkbox april 2015 review

Time for our puppies to get pumped up! April Barkbox theme was “Fitness”! Barkbox is a subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and are customized to the size of your pup. Lately every box has been themed, which I love.  We get the small dog Barkbox for Lindy, our miniature schnauzer.  You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

april 2015 barkbox review

Even though Lindy is a pig dog she doesn’t really have any extra winter weight. She’ll go through these treats as fast as she can. When I started laying out these items on the table I heard her start jingling her collar and up the stairs she came! Unboxing time mom!

toy and snack

Etta Says Crunchy Elk Chew ($3) A high protein post-workout snack! The sun is shining and Lindy has been spending a lot of time outdoors. I heard her eating the other night and I said to my husband – honey HONEY what is that NOISE. And he was like… Lindy is eating! She is an unusual mini schnau because she won’t eat if she doesn’t need to and I honestly hadn’t heard her eat in forever (she does… I just hadn’t witnessed it).

JW Pet Muscle Man Cuz ($4) This is a super cute and super durable toy. Lindy loves a good squeaker.

peanut butter pleasers

Nootie LLC Peanut Butter Pleasers ($7) EEEEE they’re shaped like peanuts. No grain treats and Lindy loved them. I keep a lot of treats in my office to give her an excuse to come visit mom once in a while!

green bark gummies

Green Bark Gummies Health and Vitality ($6) Well I guess these are the dog version of gummies, and I was happy that there isn’t any added sugar (or wheat, corn, soy or gluten). Lindy thought they were quite tasty and this dog mom appreciated that they were made with duck, and chia! Chia has tons of omegas and fiber.

boxing gloves

Fab Dog Boxing Gloves ($11.99) These are too cute and perfect for a game of tug! I just love that Barkbox switched over to themes because the boxes are truly fun for me to open.

Total value of the April box – about $32, a few dollars more than the monthly price. Once you decide on a dog subscription you should always get a longer term because the savings are so substantial. Speaking of savings, BarkBox is on RueLaLa for the next few days, too!

You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213 though it should pop up automatically when you visit Barkbox to subscribe. You can also check out all my Barkbox reviews if you’d like to see more!

Haha! My dogs always know when it’s a Barkbox, too. The little gluttons! 😀
