April 2015 My Pretend Place Subscription Box Review – Princess Box Third Month

I recently reviewed the dress-up box from My Pretend Place – a new quarterly themed pretend play and dress up subscription box for children aged 3-6. . Every quarterly My Pretend Place package comes complete with high quality non-itchy dress-up costumes, activities or crafts, and other pretend play inspiration. Plus, you get totally free surprises in the in between months to keep the play going. This subscription is a little different than some others, in that it starts with the first theme first. The second in-between month came with to your child from Princess Prudence explaining the items inside the envelope.

Kids love certificates and you can fill this one and out and present it at the royal ceremony.

The letter included a cute ceremony play idea, along with a script for an adult or older kid to speak.

And a royal princess cupcakes recipe/craft idea.

I’d never seen an edible glitter recipe (it involves dying sugar and baking it) and I thought it was fun to get a new craft idea as a parent.

The in-between mailings after the main quarterly box (see our review of the big box) are fun and free. It’s a cute bonus, plus it reminds your kid to play with their dress-up gear.
