There’s two Boodles at the end of our rainbow! March brings a Double Boodle review so you can determine the best Boodle Box for your girl. The Boodle Box is a subscription for girls and teens (and really any age, this is just a fun box!). Subscribe to Boodle 1 – ages 5-10 – or Boodle 2 – for girls 11+ (tweens and teens).
The Boodle Box theme for March is Go Green! Boodle Boxes are filled with St. Patrick’s day themed products for March
March 2015 Boodle One Review
Boodle One is designed for girls 5-10.
I was so excited to open this box! We love St. Patrick’s Day!
Gold Coins (chocolate) – my kids adore these!
Shamrock Pencils ($0.50) Every kid can use a cute, seasonal #2 pencil
TropiKale Veggie-Go ($1.39) This gluten-free fruit leather contains mango, kiwi, kale, pumpkin, apples, and guava – that’s it. My daughter loved it!
Cala Clover 3d Nail Stickers ($3.99) These are so darling and we’ll be making some fun St. Patrick’s Day nail art for sure.
Lasting Smiles Organic Lip Balms ($4.99) Every 1,000 lip balms sold funds one cleft-lip surgery. I thought this was a good opportunity to discuss differences with my daughter. Great cause and balm!
Body Refresh Travel Kit ($7.99) This is a super cute mani pedi kit. My daughter loves doing her own nails so it will get used!
Neon Striped Infinity Scarf ($14) This is so cute and I like the thin fabric on this scarf – I like the look of it showing the stripes beneath!
Citrine Crystal Clover Necklace ($19.99) A 4 leaf lucky clover necklace. Perfect for Ms. O’Grady!
This month’s Boodle Box One had around $53 in value, which was awesome.
March 2015 Boodle Two Review
On to Boodle Two! This box is designed for girls 11+ (teens and tweens).
As you can see, some of the items are the same between Boodle One and Two. This box contained the Neon Striped Infinity Scarf ($14), shown above.
Color Club Neon Green Nail Art Duo Pen ($4.50) This is cute for some DIY nail art. Teens and tweens have better motor control and will be able to do it themselves, little girls get stickers.
Ofra Green Go Eyeliner ($12) Little girls don’t get eyeliner, but girls get interested around age 12. I have taught in a middle school and have a teen niece. Let me assure you that it’s totally ok for your 12 or 13 year old girl to wear eyeliner to school (if you allow it). Probably about half of them do! If you aren’t interested in makeup, you can stick with Boodle One – it’s still perfect for this age group, it just doesn’t have the grown-up items.
I loved the olive green with gold shimmer.
Shamrock Pencils ($0.50)
TropiKale Veggie-Go ($1.39)
These items were the same as Boodle Two, but there weren’t any chocolate coins in this box.
Teen Vogue Subscription ($9.99) The offer details aren’t up yet, but I think it comes automatically!
Silver Clover Rhinestone Bracelet ($14.99) This is super cute, wearable all year, but seasonal too.
I think this is a great bracelet!
Including the magazine and the scarf, the total value of Boodle Two for March is around $58! Either of these boxes would be a win for a tween/teen girl, but you will definitely want to get Boodle One for young girls. If you’re subscribing for yourself, get Boodle Two! And what are we doing with two green scarves? Team O’Grady is being matchy matchy, of course! Thank you Boodle Box!
