My January GLOSSYBOX *finally* showed up a couple days ago. I wasn’t in a huge rush to open it because usually you can still pick up the box when I get mine. However they spread out shipping boxes over at least two weeks and I got mine last. Their official explanation – the weather. My guess – they ran out of a product and needed to print new cards to pretend that this product was actually intended for the box. How do I know this? I got a duplicate of an item from my September Glossybox! However I was still generally psyched about this box because I knew the main item inside was something I totally use!

I was surprised to see how much stuff was in there!

BCBGMAXAZRIA Bon Genre Eau De Parfum ($20) This was wrapped up in that padding and I was so curious to see what it was. When I opened it, I was pretty much like whaaaat? Because you know what, while it’s a huge sample, it’s a huge sample. There’s no way I could have used this up since September unless I bathed in it. This is a much higher value item than the bodywashes in other boxes, so perhaps it’s an oops we’re late apology?

BeautyBlender Pure with Solid Cleanser ($32.95) I was so psyched to get the solid cleanser! It’s perfect for travel, obviously! And other sponges do not come anywhere near the amazing BeautyBlender. Love it! So even though I get cranky about the perfume, obviously this box was well worth its cost!

BellaPierre Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Desert Rose ($20) This is a gorgeous mineral blush in a gorgeous color.

Toni & Guy Hair Meet Wardrobe Casual Sea Salt Texturizing Spray ($6) I love sea sprays, this one smells great!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream ($9) I’m putting this on all our post-cold faces today. My little guy’s face is all torn up.

My January Glossybox was nearly $90 in value, so I’d say I’m pretty thrilled with it despite the duplicate item – I just love discovering fun new things in my Glossybox so it was somewhat of a disappointment that I didn’t get something new!

I am sooo tempted by Glossybox. But I love Birchbox and I don’t know that I can justify two of them at the moment.. or maybe I can.

Was the beauty blender cleanser not in your box either? I know it was supposed to serve as an extra, but it seems as if they ran out of both the cleanser and the body wash and replaced it with the perfume. Mine is still on its way to me, and while the perfume sample is nice and big, I was really looking forward to trying the beauty blender cleanser :-(.

Yes, it’s in there! Sorry I was being lazy and didn’t do individual pictures, I got the solid cleanser, which I was truly psyched about, because I have a giant bottle of the regular! If you get the solid and want a liquid, try using some non-nasty dish soap like Honest (or shampoo) or Bronner’s castile or something!
