And the goods! I was so excited that everything stood up by itself I did an upright photo. It’s the little things…

Butter London Handbag Cuticle Oil ($15) I was THRILLED when I saw this thing. Absolutely thrilled. It’s a giant bottle of cuticle oil. And I was even more excited when I stroked it on my cuticles – it’s coconut- and pineapple-scented! Just what I needed for a pick me up! I prefer brush on cuticle oil and I absolutely love this! It’s also free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, carcinogens, mineral oils, and animal testing. Thanks Sample Society!!!

StriVectin Present Perfect ($8.26) Antioxidant Defense Lotion to target fine lines and prevent wrinkles. Yes please!

Jane Iredale Forever Pink Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain ($4?) I was disappointed to see an exact duplicate of an item I received in my September Sample Society box. I’ll pass this one on! It’s cool because it changes color and turns nice and pink.

Nicole Richie Fragrance Eau de Parfum Sample ($1) This smells strongly of floral and amber. I think it smells like she would. I enjoyed it after the florals dried down.

Philosophy Hope In a Jar ($8.40) I got the night cream last month, which was thick and rich. This is kind of smelly and I didn’t realize it had parabens until after I opened it. I’ll pass it along to someone that doesn’t worry about it.

The box also comes with a code to use on a $50 purchase that includes one of the brands from your Sample Society box. It will not be hard to use this one with such awesome brands in January! My January Sample Society box had a value of over $36, sharply lower than last month (I got an unusually high value box last month), but I’m still quite thrilled! I’d be happy with just the discovery of the amazing Butter cuticle oil. (Some people will get Stila lip balms instead).

Not bad for just $5 more than Birchbox! The box that it comes in looks pretty nice, too.

The nail oil is to die for. The box is nice and textured too. I admit that I recycle it (as in actually recycle, not trash or reuse) but normal people would probably reuse it. I do *not* save all my boxes. I tend to save the ones with drawers (I covet my husband’s Birchbox Man boxes, which he hoards), KlutchClub boxes, And the flippy magnetic ones. And of course the large limited edition ones. Normal people do not get as many boxes as I do. I am not normal.
