The guest curator is Dr. Michelle Spring, a cosmetic/reconstructive surgeon. I thought that was a nice choice and was excited about the item she selected.

Le Edge

Le Edge (“$26” but purchase one for $7 on Amazon) I think this is a great item! I wish Blush wouldn’t inflate the retail value of the items in its boxes though. I forgot to try it out this morning. but I hope it’s going to be great! Le Edge has love/hate reviews but I am ridiculously excited about it nonetheless.

The items in the Blush Mystery Beauty Box always come in this great black cloth bag which I use to stuff things in when we travel.

I thought this was a nice assortment!

GOLDFADEN MD Wake Up Call – Overnight  Regenerative Facial Treatment  ($8) So not surprised this is a tiny sample, it’s for dry/aging skin and is an overnight treatment!  My skin is super unhappy with a 5 week travel regimen and I will be trying this out tonight.

GLYTONE Hydrating Eye Cream ($38)

OSMOSIS SKINCARE Harmonized Water Digestive Health ($30) How did I miss this in the spoilers? Really Blush, this is just bizarre. I guess a clean bowel is a beautiful bowel. Supposed to reduce bloating and I guess it would be welcome by a lot of people, but it struck me as a little odd! What do you think? Upon reading the description I do see that it may help improve your skin. I will try it!

KLORANE Mask with Desert Date ($24) I forgot to use this during my shower too. But I will use it soon. My hair is uncharacteristically dry due to winter conditions. Great item.  Some subscribers received KLORANE Leave-In Cream with Desert Date ($16).

IMG_1722jane iredale Just Kissed Lip Plumper  – Tokyo I totally expected this weensy size because I’m used to getting Jane Iredale in my Sample Society boxes. Of course it would be great if it were full-sized, but I also like the little sizes too!

My January Blush Mystery Beauty Box had a value of over $110 (including my free samples which I failed to take a photo of, and using my own calculations). I think it’s still an excellent value! I hope there are more makeup products in the February Box!

Hah I had to search what the edge thing did, too. This actually looks like an awesome value! And yes, I am totally spending my Friday night reading your reviews. Feel loved. 🙂

Please explain the edge thing… a body exfoliator.. looks like it would hurt?

oh yeah, so you scrape it along your body in the shower. i tried it dry (duh, you’re not supposed to do that) and it didn’t hurt. i can’t see how it would hurt when it was wet. i want to try it on the sides of my feet. i always use my fingernails on them, and that’s gross. this is way too much TMI.
