The Little Book Club sends 3 books a month for $24.95 (including shipping) based on your child’s age and a monthly theme. I loved the March Little Book Club so much I got it again! I never know what books to buy and it’s very difficult for me to get to the library, so this is an excellent option.

What’s in the April (May?) Little Book Club Box?

The books come bundled nice and snug along with a card to your kiddo.

Our Little Book Club theme this month is adventure! This is a very nice information card even though it’s almost not needed. But my daughter loves the envelope addressed to her. I wouldn’t change it.

In our Little Book Club box we received How I Became a Pirate, Miss Rumphius, and King Arthur’s Very Great Grandson. Based on Amazon prices, the value of this box is $33 and I paid $24.95. I am very impressed with that!

I took some shots of the insides of the books so you could get a feel for them.

Should you splurge?

Yes, this box gets an A+ from me.

The books are colorful and graphic and tell great stories.

This one made my literary heart go pitter-pat. For some reason it reminded me of Lady Mary Wortley Montagu and, mom, if you need something a bit off the beaten path to read, try her letters.
