The April GLOSSYBOX was opened as part of my subscription box opening marathon with bestie. You should have seen her eyes light up at this box. She immediately claimed it (the actual box) as her own. Glossybox is indeed the nicest box out there in terms of packaging. So solid and so giftable.

This month’s theme is “Work that Beauty.” Cute!

What’s inside May GLOSSYBOX?

Glossybox has an excellent information card with all the information – prices and sizes – that you’re going to want.

Replenishing Daily Solution from Le Metier de Beaute – with spf 30 and paraben free! It nourishes, rejuvenates, and detoxifies. Let me be straight up. I’m probably not going to actually purchase Le Metier, but I sure love trying it.

Bulgari Bath Tea – I can’t wait to make my children smell like they stepped out of Nordstrom. Yeah, I do use a lot of the bath stuff on them. It’s a fun time. I take showers but it doesn’t mean we can’t have fun with this.

The Honest Company Lavender Mint Lip Balm – Bestie stole this one straight out of the box. I just got one for free for Mother’s Day in my Honest Company Essentials Bundle and that one is for the kids. Since bestie is leaving me (common theme today, I’m sad she’s moving. I remember crying my eyes out the first time she moved away from me!) I will let her plunder my stash. Anyways, she was totally wild about it and said it was rilly rilly rilly good. I don’t like mint on my face so I passed. I have sensitive lips. I’m so picky.

Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist – I was psyched to get this in my box. I love the deluxe sample size. Yes, you COULD buy a huge bottle of whatever brand is the hottest (maybe this one?) but then you would have a giant bottle of it when you really only want to use it three months out of the year. The only thing I was disappointed about was it didn’t have a beach smell.

Coffee Mint Body Wash with Joe. Obviously this one I am going to pass on. If you know me, I’m coffee free. I smelled it and it smelled ok. I didn’t gag. Either at nearly 35 I’m maturing or it wasn’t very coffee-ee.

TIGI Glow Blush – I liked this blush a lot. I forgot I was showing a swatch and processed the picture. Whoops. But the color is super nice and super summery.

Should you splurge?

I like Glossybox a whole lot. The products are unique and very luxury and I don’t see them in every box. I get excited when I see the Glossybox spoilers. And I just signed up for 6 months of it. So yes, I love it!  Should you decide to splurge use coupon code WINK to have a free eyeliner added to your GLOSSYBOX!

Lolz at making your kids smell like Nordstrom!! I also never take baths anymore, only showers. I have a huge fab tub and a whole drawer full of lush bath bombs that sit around looking at me every day with sad face 🙁
