One of my friends and I independently applied Julep Lauren (which came in the Spring Mystery box) to our nails over the weekend. Her picture is first below. Mine, on the bottom, is three coats of Lauren and one coat of Freedom Polymer Top coat. She said she used Seche Vite top coat and Julep quick dry drops.IMG_5444

I really liked the glaze finish on this polish! It did wear off a tad quickly on the tips of my nails, but I just filed my nails way down and didn’t really smooth them a lot, so I can’t really blame it on the polish. I love this polish and it’s already one of my faves!IMG_5439

Julep describes Lauren as Hot tropical pink crème. I have to say I really think it’s more of a glaze – it is very thin and sheer but this is what I like because I can build the color through thin coats, which adhere better.  I love it! Ten stars!

If you didn’t get the Julep Spring Mystery Box you can pick up a Lauren polish all by itself. Free shipping if you’re a maven, which you should be, because you can get a free box and skip every month, right? Sign up for Julep here and use code JULEPVIP for your first box free!
