I got my first Juniper box last week and I am so excited to share it with you. Juniper is a tampon and treats box that comes with all your monthly supplies, pain relief, and stuff to make your period a little less annoying. It is a premium box with a first-I’ve-seen value add of tracking your period for you. Be sure to check out all the Juniper information in the MommySplurge subscription box directory!

a personal note from founder/my Juniper BFF!

So first things first, Juniper comes in a plain white box if you’re worried about that.  When it was time I texted my Juniper BFF – my personal period concierge – so she can keep track of my cycle. Yay.

What’s in the box

It’s a Valentine’s Day theme! Oh so appropriate for a February box and Juniper DID IT RIGHT. I have to be honest, I was skeptical about a period box. Really skeptical. Juniper just totally wowed me. It is a super box for old ladies like me. (Okay, I’m 34. But these products were RIGHT UP MY ALLEY!). Anyone who enjoys premium stuff will like the treats that Juniper sent. When you open the box you find your tampons in the gold box, treats in the organza bag, and extra supplies in the gold bag.

These supplies were just what I had asked for.

I wanted Playtex Gentle Glide and that’s what I got!

my variety liners

These too. My Juniper BFF helpfully suggested a selection of liners because I really didn’t know what I wanted.

I didn’t ask for pain relief or overnight because I don’t want those things, but they will come in your box.

Enough with the Tampons, On to the Treats!

I loved Juniper’s carefully hand-selected items. I thought they were super-premium boutique items.

Chocolate Florentine from Clarine’s Florentines

chocolate strawberries from Marich. amazing.

Anna’s Honey Straws: strawberry, raspberry, sour cherry

Pike Place Espresso Truffle Bar. Ours is gone already. Really high marks.

Harney & Son’s tea. I once used Harney’s for a marketing promo and it is top of the line. These are those cute little pyramid tea bags with really high quality soothing tea. The teas are Tilleul, Paris, and Pomegranate Oolong.

Little i sugar free mints

If you’re wondering, there are no refills for these mints. I hope Juniper sends more of them!

Should you splurge?

Yes! This was a beautiful gorgeous box! I was really pleased with it and I think Juniper changed my mind about period boxes. Who wouldn’t want this box for their period? I have talked to a bunch of my friends about the Juniper box and I have had several friends say, oh, I should track my period, I never know when it’s coming. Nobody has the time to track anymore! Many of my friends don’t have the room to buy a warehouse size box of tampons either. Or the self-control to buy only a few comfort items (i.e., chocolate) for that time. And this is way better than hitting up the CVS on the way to work, right? So you get a chance to sample some stuff not in any other boxes, everything for your period, and Juniper tracks it for you. Pretty Sweet if you ask me!

Super cool. I hope you enjoy it. I thought it was a really nice box! And Juniper is also super responsive and has the best customer service. Which is the sort of thing that you want to have for this kind of box!
